I marinated the steak Tuesday night in preparation for having it Wednesday night. Life got in the way so we ended up having it last night. The marinade was really good and the steak was nicely done. My first time ever cooking flank steak.
I was really looking forward to the salsa. Although it was kind of creamy for a salsa. It didn’t take long to blend all the chopped ingredients. The raw onion did impact the flavor of the salsa. I think next time I will cook the onion a bit so it will be carmelized and that sweetness should add an interesting level of flavor.
It was good and I intend to make this recipe again.
